Leadership

Kenneth Sheer

Founding Partner & CEO

Ken is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Covington acquisitions throughout the United States. His expertise includes over 35 years of industrial, commercial and residential real estate acquisition & management, land development, master planning, and site selection for the third-party logistics industry. He has transacted over 30M SF of buildings and over 5,000 acres of land throughout his career. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Mark Milakovich

Managing Partner & President

Mark is responsible for the operations, administration, and asset & property management functions across the Covington portfolio and maintains direct responsibility for the redevelopment of certain assets. He has deep experience in multimodal logistics, including managing industrial development for BNSF Railway in Southern California, as well as co-managing operations of March Global Port, the redevelopment of March AFB in Riverside, CA into an air-cargo hub. Mark has been with Covington since 2005 and brings over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, logistics, land entitlement & planning, and business operations. He graduated with his MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and his BA in Architecture from the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley.

Dana Whitmer

Development Partner & CDO

Dana is responsible for all aspects of shephering Covington's projects through the development process. He has extensive experience navigating projects through complex entitlement efforts and has successfully managed the design and construction of over 8MM SF of industrial buildings. Prior to joining Covington, his career was centered around the development of industrial business parks in Southern California. In addition to earning an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Business Administration from USC, he also served for four years as an officer in the US Marine Corps, before beginning his career in real estate.

Jeremy Womack

Chief Investment Officer

Jeremy is responsible for capital raising, investor relations and contributing to the investment decisions of the firm. His experience includes over 20 years in the capital raising business, most recently with JLL. He started and built the capital markets business in Phoenix for HFF starting in 2016 and grew the business subsequent to the merger with JLL in 2019. Closing over 400 loans and raising over $10B of capital throughout his career, Jeremy brings an expertise to grow Covington’s finance capabilities and holds a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University.
