Leadership

Kenneth Sheer

Founding Partner & CEO

Ken is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Covington acquisitions throughout the United States. His expertise includes over 35 years of industrial, commercial and residential real estate acquisition & management, land development, master planning, and site selection for the third-party logistics industry. He has transacted over 30M SF of buildings and over 5,000 acres of land throughout his career. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Mark Milakovich

Managing Partner & President

Mark is responsible for the operations, administration, financial, and asset / property management functions across the Covington portfolio and maintains direct responsibility for the redevelopment of certain assets. Mark joined Covington in 2005 and has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, logistics, land entitlement & planning, and business operations. He graduated with his MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA and his BA in Architecture from the College of Environmental Design at University of California at Berkeley.

Dana Whitmer

Development Partner & CDO

Dana is responsible for all aspects of shepherding Covington's projects through the development process. He has extensive experience navigating projects through complex entitlement efforts and has successfully managed the design and construction of over 8MM SF of industrial buildings. Prior to joining Covington, his career was centered around the development of industrial business parks in Southern California. In addition to earning an MBA from the University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Business Administration from USC, he also served for four years as an officer in the US Marine Corps, before beginning his career in real estate.
